Lois E. Kyle, 90 of Effingham, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham with Pastor Mike Burdick officiating. Graveside services will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to time of service, Monday at the church. Memorial donations may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church Food Pantry. We ask that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing during the services.

Lois was born September 17, 1930 in Effingham, the daughter of John and Mary (Beals) Carroll. She married Royal Kyle on September 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2012. Lois was a beautician and also worked at Norge for many years. After retirement, she worked at WalMart.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Janet (Gene) Koebele and son, Jim Kyle (firned, Jane Blair), both of Effingham; grandchildren, Trina Rothrock of Salem, Megan (Adam) Millsop of Shoreview, MN, Kyle Lindsey of Effingham, Nikolas (Megan) Kyle of Portland, TN and Rodger Kyle (friend, Kasey) of Texarkana, TX; great-grandchildren, Nicole (Hunter) Johnson of Green Bay, WI, Rylee, Keira, Peyton and Quincy Rothrock of Salem, Jackson, Avery and Rowan Millsop of Shoreview, MN and Indy Kyle of Portland, TN.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wendel, Maurice, Dwight, Jim and Roger Carroll; sisters, Evelyn Blair, Mildred Elam and Virginia Bivins; infant grandson, Rick Kyle.
