Howard Dean Webster Sr., age 85, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Flora Gardens in Flora, Illinois.

There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. There will a graveside service following the visitation at Leith Cemetery in Mason, Illinois. Mark White will be officiating. Memorials may go to Leith Cemetery or the donor’s choice. Howard was born on September 3, 1935 in Effingham County, Illinois, the son of Ralph W. and Wilma E. (Heidbreder) Webster. He loved taking care of his cows, carpentry, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Howard Dean Webster Jr. of Edgewood, Illinois, Frank Webster (wife Sarah) of Mason, Illinois, Emery Webster (wife Robin) of Annapolis, Illinois, Paul Webster of Edgewood, Illinois, Mathew Webster of Iuka, Illinois, Philip Webster (wife Shannon) of Effingham, Illinois; daughters, Maria McClellen (husband Gary) of Neoga, Illinois, Erma Black (special friend Jim Case) of Iuka, Illinois, Ann Hollinshead (husband John) of Dieterich, Illinois, Alta Long (husband Randy) of Tuscola, Illinois, Lauri Dunn (husband Brian) of Neoga, Illinois, Rosa Dust (husband Tim) of Watson, Illinois; step-children, Cynthia Carter of Arthur, Illinois, Sheryl Perez (husband Trinidad) of Arthur, Illinois, Kennan Smith (wife Lori) of Houston, Texas; sisters, Doris Kuhlman (husband Jack) of Mason, Illinois, Viola Fulk Edgewood, Illinois, and Margaret Washburn (husband Gary) of Effingham, Illinois; 41 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchildren, Jaedyn Hill, 14 step grandchildren, 12 step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Wilma Webster; sons, Loren “Cowboy” Webster and John Tipsword; brother, Charles Webster; daughter-in-law, Tina; brother-in-law, Glen Fulk; grandchildren, Kale Black, Stacia Hollinshead, Lillian Rose Webster, Will Dust; great-grandchildren, Trevor Webster, Mya Hollinshead, Isabella Marie Barth.
