Angela Ladendorf, 55, of Shumway, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020.

A private burial for Angela will be held in Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham, Illinois on Friday, July 10, 2020. Arrangements are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, Illinois.

Angela was born on March 31,1965, in Effingham, Illinois. She was the daughter of Paul and Helen (Heil) Baker.

Angela, better known as Angie, loved to spend time with her family. In recent years, she had relocated to St. Louis, where she enjoyed activities with her children, such as visiting the Arch, Union Station, Busch Stadium, the Zoo and, her all-time favorite, the mall. She also enjoyed taking weekend trips back to the Effingham area to spend time and run errands with her sisters. Angie worked at the Dollar Tree in St. Louis, where she started as a cashier and quickly worked her way up to an assistant manager role. She made her family very proud with the hard work, courage, and determination she showed over the last several years. She will be greatly missed.

Angela is survived by her children, Brittany (husband, Kyle) Sloman, Justin (wife, Caroline Leritz) Ladendorf, Levi Ladendorf; and Kiley Ladendorf; grandchildren, Pierce Sloman and Charley Sloman; and by her siblings, Cindy Bushue and Deana Harmon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
