Nancy J. Sills, 68, of Tampa, FL, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. (noon) to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Nancy was born on December 28, 1950, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of John D. and Janet M. Sills. Nancy graduated from Effingham High School and attended Lake Land College. For many years, Nancy loved living in Florida. She worked in the interior design department at Home Depot in Tampa, FL. Nancy enjoyed music and cooking. She was strong-willed, independent, and had a love for animals.
Nancy is survived by her brother, Jon A. Sills of Effingham; twin nieces, Andrea Sills and Ashley Sills both of Effingham; and nephew, Erik Sills of Effingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
