Mary C. Morrison, 68, of rural Sigel, Illinois, passed away at 10:28 AM Tuesday July 2, 2019, at Evelyn's House of Creve Coeur, Missouri.

She was born August 14, 1950, in Pittsfield, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Ramona (Joslin) Johnson. She married Garry Morrison October 25, 1969 in Ft. Levenworth, Kansas. Mary was a retired receptionist for HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. She was a former board member of the State Porketts, a past president of Shelby County Pork Producers and a former leader of 4-H. Mary loved camping, doing crafts, gardening, combing through antique shops, watching hummingbirds, playing with her dogs and doting upon her grandchildren.

Mrs. Morrison leaves her husband, Garry of rural Sigel; one son, Jeff Morrison (Shari) of Neoga; daughter, Lori Morrison Bufalo (Gary) of Wentzville, Missouri; four granddaughters, Maddi and Megan Morrison of Neoga, Illinois and Sophia and Lilli Bufalo of Wentzville, Missouri; two brothers, David Johnson (Kathy) of Dennison, Illinois and John Johnson (Amy) of Bloomington, Illinois; one sister, Linda Gray (George) of Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Mary's life will be at 10:00 AM Monday July 8 in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga with Shepherd Greg Smith of Stewardson, Illinois officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Coon's Cemetery of rural Sigel.
