Loretta M. Bowlin, 72, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.
Loretta was born on September 24, 1946, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of James and Lucille (Levitt) Bowlin.
Loretta enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She was a hard-worker and always put others before herself. She also enjoyed traveling with her sisters.
Loretta is survived by her son, Rick Bowlin of Effingham; grandchildren, Hyleri Bowlin and Brandon Bowlin both of Effingham; great-grandchild, Carson; brothers, James (Marcia) Bowlin and Richard (Sue) Bowlin both of Effingham; sisters, Patricia Mason of Mattoon, Charlotte (Dennis) Crumrin of Arthur, and Debbie Wells of Mattoon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Vivian Bowlin infancy and Alice Barker; brothers, Jackie Bowlin and Clarence Eugene Bowlin; and niece, Angela Quast.
Loretta will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
