Frank Dorney, 54, of Parkersburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Frank was born December 11, 1964 in Olney, IL to parents Stanley Robert and Mary Alice (Rothrock) Dorney. Frank worked for the Richland County Road Department for many years. He also would often lend a hand to local farmers during crop season. Frank enjoyed life and helping others in need. He enjoyed being around his friends and having a cold Natural Light.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Jamie Dorney of Humboldt, NE; daughter, Amber Dorney of Williamsport, TN; parents, Stanley and Mary Dorney of West Salem; sister, Cinda Hulskotter and husband Mitch of Effingham, IL; grandchildren, Dawniquia Goodlander, Re'Leila Dorney, Kaenaan Dorney, and Basilia Dorney.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 13 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 14 at the funeral home with burial following in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
