Judyth K. Hedge, 72, of Shumway, IL, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Shelbyville Manor, Shelbyville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the service at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Judy was born on August 23, 1946, in Chicago, IL, to Arthur and Ethelyn (Malo) White. She was united in marriage to Jim Hedge on November 4, 1967. Judy worked for Bauer Auction Service for many years and loved collecting antiques, especially elephants, and Fenton glassware. Family was a big part of Judy’s life. She always enjoyed taking trips to visit her children and grandchildren wherever they lived, even traveling all the way to Germany. Judy was a member of Beecher City United Methodist Church. She was an avid book reader and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. 

Judy is survived by her husband, Jim Hedge of Shumway; children, Lee (Rita) Hedge of Renton, WA; Stacy (Chris) Robinson of Virginia Beach, VA; and Jeff (Shonda) Hedge of Medford, OR; grandchildren, Megan Hedge, Sam Hedge, Colton Robinson, and Taeghen Robinson; and brother-in-law, Paul (Robin) Hedge.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
