Roberta K. "Bert" Woodmansee (74) of Altamont

Roberta K. ‘Bert’ Woodmansee, 74, of Altamont, Illinois, died at 1:16 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Private family services and burial will be held at a later date at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be made to Effingham County Humane Shelter or the donor’s choice.
Roberta was born on Saturday, June 10th, 1944 to Leslie B. ‘Tom’ and Thelma M. (Higgs) Smith. She was an avid Cardinals fan, enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels, and embroidering.
Roberta is survived by her brothers, Les (Judy) Smith, Altamont and Dale Smith, Marion; sisters, Sandra Sue (Roy) Cochran, Altamont, Gail (Sam) Lefler, West Palm Beach, Florida, Brenda Hofmann, Altamont; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her special friend Panda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gerald ‘Pood’ Smith and Ray Allen Smith; and sister-in-law, Nancy Smith.
