Rick was born on Sunday, May 11, 1952, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Clarence A. and Jane (Coker) Lueken. Rick married the love of his life, Jennifer Lynn Schneider on Saturday, November 27th, 2004 at the Chapel of the Doves in Branson, Missouri. Rick was an amazingly, strong man, who endured too much pain in his lifetime. Rick loved with his whole heart. He was a loving, kind and gentle soul. Rick had many talents, he was a great fisherman, great carpenter, great bowler, computer buff, great worker, and always enjoyed helping others. Whatever he was enduring he always had a smile on his face and always concerned about others. He was the best husband and provider. Rick had the most sweet and calming personality, had a great sense of humor with a beautiful smile and great laugh. Rick loved his St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, football, all sports and especially fishing. We learned so much from Sweet Rick, and he taught us what was truly important in life---love and togetherness. Rick is and will be loved and missed forever and ever.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Lynn Schneider-Lueken of Watson, Illinois; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leroy and Barbara Schneider of Mason, Illinois and one sister, Debbie Eichelberger of Heartville, Illinois.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jane Lueken and his sister, Constance (Connie) Austin.
