Sallie L. Trier, age 70, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her home in St. Elmo, Illinois surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 17 at St. Elmo Christian Church in St. Elmo, Illinois. There will be a viewing from 4-7:30 p.m. Tom Fedrigon will be officiating. Sallie was born on September 4, 1948 in St. Elmo, Illinois, the daughter of Virgle and Goldie Marie (Force) Harris. She married Verle “Chip” A. Trier on April 2, 1983, he preceded her in death on September 8, 2012. She worked for Century 21 for many years. She had a passion for her work and received numerous top awards for her outstanding achievements and dedication. She enjoyed traveling, gambling at the boat, fishing, golfing, crocheting, reading, quilting and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her 4 sons, Jim Trier (wife Tamey) of Byron, Illinois, Jerry Trier (wife Linda) of Sedley, Virginia, Jeff Trier (wife Reba) of St. Elmo, Illinois and Marty Evans (wife Rebecca) of Brownstown, Illinois; 2 daughters, Judy Trier (husband Zeo Aziz) of New York and Sheila Austin of Casey, Illinois; 3 sisters, Trudy Reichert of Farina, Illinois, Loretta “Letty” Cameron of St. Elmo, Illinois and Sandy Sickles of St. Elmo, Illinois; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgle and Goldie Harris; her husband; 3 brothers-in-law, Gordon Reichert, Tracy “Short” Cameron and TJ Sickles.
