Stormy Dai Dilley (53) of St. Elmo

Stormy Dai Dilley, age 53, of St. Elmo, Illinois, passed away at 7:23 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Elmo Christian Church, St. Elmo, Illinois.  Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to start of service on December 15, 2018. She will be laid to rest with her son in Neoga, Illinois

Stormy was born May 6, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Darlene (Tyner) Ferris. 

Stormy married Mark Neil Dilley on December 24, 1991, in Trilla, Illinois.  She was an owner/operator of Stormy’s custom signs and designs, a graphic designer, crafter and took care of the North End rabbits. She was member of the St. Elmo City Council, and the St. Elmo Historical Society.

Stormy continued her giving ways through organ donation.

Stormy is survived by her husband, Mark Dilley of St. Elmo, Illinois; two daughters, Tracy Evans (husband Gerald) of Vandalia, Illinois, Carrie Summers (husband Brice) of Vandalia, Illinois; her mother, Darlene Tyner of Lerna, Illinois; one brother, Krag Ferris (wife Linda) of Lerna, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Stormy was preceded in death by her son, Jason Bradley Knight; father, William Ferris; brother, Wendell “Butch” Tyner, and her grandmother.
