Martin "Marty" P. Laub of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by his family.

Services for  Marty Laub will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Marty was born September 7, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Peter J. Laub and Claire Fruchtl. He was a graduate of Teutopolis High School, class of 1975 and Eastern Illinois University. He also attended Michigan State University. He worked as a general manager at Red Lobster for 32 years and loved his work, the employees and the customers. Prior to that, he worked as a sales representative for Campbell's Soup Company. Marty also attended Little Flower Parish in South Bend.

He is survived by his three sisters: Nancy (Bob) Esker of Knoxville, TN, Karen Cummins of Springfield, IL and Mary Lu (Kyle) Pettyjohn of Sigel, IL. He is also survived by a niece, three nephews and three great nephews, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
