Clarence V. White, 74, of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away at 8:48 A.M. Sunday, September 16, 2018, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center of Coles County.
Clarence was born March 4, 1944, in Cumberland County, IL, the son of Mearl and Violet (Keller) White. He married Wanda Levitt August 25, 1968, in Neoga, IL. Clarence owned and operated Lake Land Florals in Mattoon, along with his wife Wanda. He was a member of Lifepointe Church of Mattoon, IL. Clarence enjoyed gardening, listening to music and classic cars.
Clarence leaves his wife Wanda after fifty years of marriage. He also leaves, two sons, Matthew White and Joshua White and wife Tamara, all of Mattoon, IL; two brothers, Virgil White and wife Loretta of Toledo, IL, and Loren White and wife Sharon of Mattoon, IL ; two sisters, Helen Rose Smith of Mattoon, IL and Blanche Titus and husband Ralph of Charleston, IL.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Herschel and Vernon White.

A celebration of Clarence's life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 20 in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL, with Rev. Marvin Yoder of Tulsa, OK officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery, Neoga, IL, with Military Services conducted by the Votaw-Swank Post # 458, Neoga, IL.
