Dave L. Cheadle (58) of Effingham

Dave L. Cheadle, 58, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday September 12 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

David was born on September 17,1959 in Effingham, IL, the son of Mervin and Shirley (Hill) Cheadle.

Dave owned and operated Dave’s Balancing. He was a rebuilder of cars. He had a love of Ford cars, NASCAR, and drag racing. He especially loved his grandkids and spending time with his family and friends.

Dave is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Tim) Bill of Dieterich and Stacia (Jacobus) Bliek of Charlotte, NC; mother, Shirley Cheadle of Effingham; grandchildren, Addisyn Bill, Emery Bill, Finley Bliek, and his first grandson on the way; and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and wingman, Mike Knabe.
