Edna May Kemper, 85, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 1:27 PM Friday, September 7, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital In Urbana, IL.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 11 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery.
Edna was born on April 30, 1933 in Mattoon, IL to John & Reta (Pygott) Pugh. She married Leo Kemper on May 17, 1949 and he preceded her in 1984.
Surviving are Sons Jim (Jackie) Kemper, Ronnie Kemper, Danny (Tina) Kemper and Leo (Jan) Kemper; 24 Grandchildren and 46 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Granchildren; Brother Jim Pugh and Sister Kathy Double.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Cathy Diane Kemper, Brenda Baker, Reta Baker, Rosie Stone and special Granddaughter Angela Baker and infants Leo Carl Kemper and Johnny Allen Kemper.
Edna was a homemaker and loved playing bingo.
