Joe M. Stumborg, 63 of Shelbyville, Illinois, passed away at 6:00 A. M. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Joe was born December 27, 1954, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Albert and Vera (Winegarner) Stumborg, Jr. Joe was formerly employed by the Boos Butcher Block Company of Effingham, Illinois for thirty-five years.
He leaves three sisters, Mary Ann Hecht, Paula Denison and Virginia Stumborg.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
As per Joe's wishes, his body was Cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Rhodes-France Scout Reservation, 815 North 500 East Road, Pana, Illinois. 62557. The Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements.
