Wilma Ann Laird, 79, of Clay City, Illinois passed away at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Neal Funeral Home in Louisville will handle arrangements.  Memorials to the American Cancer Society.

She was born July 15, 1933 in Clay City, the daughter of Earl "Duck" and Mildred (Holmes) Franklin.  She married Raleigh Laird and he preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Hill Church.

Survivors include one son, Edward Neil Wyatt and wife Kelly Kincaid Wyatt of Clay City...one daughter, Debbie Tibbs and husband Delbert "Butch" of Clay City...her mother, Mildred Franklin in Flora...brother, Richard Earl Franklin and companion Norma Hance of Odessa, Texas...one sister, Dorthy Mitchell of Clay City...half-sisters, Lynn Dorman and husband Tom of Louisville and Kanen Miller and Tawanne White, both of Clay City...four grandchildren, Candra Allen, Blake Moore, Josh Wyatt and Jonas Wyatt...and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father...her husband...one son, Terry Ellis who died in infancy...a half-brother, Billie White...one sister, Mabel Sharp...and two grandchildren.
