Dixie L. (Tieffel) Kuhn of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Effingham died on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, June 3, at Oakridge Cemetery in Effingham, followed by a family celebration of life at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham.
Dixie was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary (Campbell) Tieffel of Effingham.
Survivors include daughters, Jeri Lynn (Mike) Rivard of Lutz, Florida, Jacinda (friend Ira) Brady of Mulberry, Florida and Shannon (Manny) Aguilar of Tampa, Florida...six grandchildren and one great-grandchild...sisters, Shirley (Bud) Vonderheide of Stewardson, Mickey (Jerry) Koester of Teutopolis, Sandy (Don) Bingman of Effingham, Priss (Ed) Stevens of Watson, Debbie (Lyle) Kirby of Watson, Dianna (Nathan) Jones of Effingham, Becky (Tim) Tieffel of Effingham...brothers, Bob (Gloria) Tieffel of Jackson, Tennessee, Don (Chris) Tieffel, Dennis Tieffel and David (Diane) Tieffel, all of Effingham, Doug (Nila) Tieffel of Teutopolis, Jim Tieffel of Effingham...and sister-in-law, Paula Tieffel of Herrick.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Kuhn; former husband, Fred Lankford; daughter, Michelle Lankford; and brothers, Melvin, Jerry and Kent and sister Norma.
