Jackie Bill Eggers, 70, of Toledo, IL passed away at 5:58 PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Graveside funeral services with Military Rites by Cumberland County Veterans will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 3 at Friends Grove Cemetery rural Toledo. The Barkley Funeral in Toledo is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jack was born on May 29, 1947 in Cumberland County, IL the son of William and Bertha (Butler) Eggers. He married Eleanor Starwalt on March 16, 1973. He is survived by his wife, and daughter Jackie Sue and husband Rich Grafton of Casey; three grandchildren; brother Roy Eggers of Greenup; sisters Norma Kirkley of Chicago, Evelyn Howard of Villa Grove, and Sharon Oakley of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Eggers, and by sister Beverly Byrnes.
Jack was a truck driver for Ben Tire Distributers for 45 years. Jack served his country in the Army during Vietnam. He was a member of the Toledo America Legion. Memorials may be made to the Pet Connection.
