Norman Ray Welch, age 66, formerly of Clay County, passed away at 5:30 am Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home in Geneva, FL.

Arrangements are entrusted to J.W.Neal Funeral Home in Louisville where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, February 17. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home on Saturday. Interment will be at Ingraham Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.

He was born on May 17, 1951 to Dallas and Eleanor Eileen (Musgrave) Welch. He was united in marriage to Patricia "Penny" McGee on June 18, 1992 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She survives in Geneva, FL. He was a project manager and estimator and was a member of the Ingraham Christian Church.

Norman is survived by his wife Penny, daughters, Anna (Brad Staum) Welch of Indianapolis, IN, Amy (Adam O'Brian) Welch of Indianapolis, IN; brother Darrell (Dana) Welch of St. Helen's, OR; grandchildren, at Aleczander and Archer O'Brian, Lukas Staum all of Indianapolis.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Rita Goebel.
