Lawrence J. Will, 93 of Sigel, passed away Wednesday evening, January 31, 2018 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lillyville, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the church with a 6:00 p.m. parish rosary. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lillyville.

Lawrence was born March 23, 1924 in Cumberland County, the son of Martin and Frances (Hoene) Will. He was a lifelong farmer and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lillyville.

Lawrence is survived by his brother, Bernard (Dolores) Will of Effingham; sister-in-law, Pauletta Will of Teutopolis, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Joseph, Martin, Virgil and Raymond; two sisters, Eleanor Goeckner and Hilda Siemer; sisters-in-law, Luella Will and Elvira Will; brothers-in-law, Norbert Goeckner and Joseph Siemer; nephew, Dale Goeckner.
