Aretha Elda Young, age 75, of Louisville, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at her home in Louisville.

She was born January 2, 1942 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Loren and the late Inez (Bryan) Robinson. She was united in marriage to Harold "Pete" Young on June 30, 1959 in Geneva, IL. Pete survives in Louisville.

Aretha was retired from World Color Press after 33 years as a supervisor. She was a member of North Harter Church and her hobbies include visiting and loving her grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

She leaves her mourn her passing, sons, Harold Lee Young of Louisville, Michael Warren Young of Flora, Delbert Loren (Brandi) Young of Louisville; daughter Penny (John) Gray of Louisville; grandchildren, Nate Sims of Louisville, Jessica (Boone) Baker of Terre Haute, IN, Ethan Young of Louisville, Whitney Young of Carbondale, Kenzie Robertson of Louisville, Emma Robertson of Louisville; great grandchild Jamison Young of Carbondale; special friends Clarence and Nancy Davis of Dix, IL and Bugsy and Betty Jo Lewis of Louisville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Roger Bryan Young; brothers Jack and Harold Robinson; sisters-in-law Doris and Mary Ann Robinson.

Arrangements are entrusted to J.W. Neal Funeral Home of Louisville, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 11, 2017. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home in Louisville.
