Lloyd Samuel Tarr, 81, of Wheeler died at 7:25am Friday, December 8, 2017 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm Saturday, December 16 at Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich with Mike Knepper officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery, Wheeler. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30pm Saturday.

Lloyd was born on September 6, 1936, in Richland County, Illinois, the son of John and Winfred (Davis) Tarr. Lloyd was retired from farming and enjoyed caring for his animals.
Lloyd is survived by:
Sisters – Louise (Larry) Kremer of Channahon, Illinois and Marilyn Kibler of Plainfield, Illinois
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lawrence and Bill Tarr.
