Marian Louise Grunloh, 81, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 4 a.m. Friday at Aspen Creek of Effingham.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 19, at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 7pm Sunday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with a 6:30pm parish wake service Sunday.  Memorials to St. Anthony Schools or Catholic Charities.  www.bauerfh.com 

She was born in Island Grove on January 3, 1931, the daughter of Clarence and Lena (Bierman) Steger.  She married Clifford Grunloh on May 13, 1950 in Island Grove.  She went to Newton High School.  She worked with her husband in the businesses that they created together.  They had a construction company, golf course, supper club and a drapery shop.  She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.  She was involved in Ladies Sodality, CCW, Friends of St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital and enjoyed gardening, golfing, hunting and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include nine children, Ted Grunloh and wife Jean Anne of Effingham, Richard Grunloh of Effingham, Debby Rickelman and husband Joe of Worth, Bill Grunloh and wife Diana of Springfield, Sandy Brown and husband Steve of Champaign, Tom Grunloh of Effingham, Lynn Lustig and husband Bruce of Effingham, Ed Grunloh and wife Lori of Effingham, and Amy Joliff and husband Scott of Atlanta, Georgia...20 grandchildren, Jeremy Grunloh, Nicole Hauschild, Paul Rickelman, Natalie Mask, Jackie Dunne, Erin Dudley, Ashley Bierman, Eric Brown, Bailey Lustig, Dani Grunloh, Allie Grunloh, Lucas Brown, Anna Kyle, Andrew Grunloh, Alex Lustig, Patrick Grunloh, Lena Grunloh, Nick Grunloh, Adam Joliff and Noah Joliff...and six great-grandchildren.
