Glenda J. “Candy” Donsbach, 64, of Effingham, Illinois, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Champaign Urbana Regional Rehabilitation Center, Savoy.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at Johnson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Effingham County Humane Society.

Glenda was born on November 16, 1947, in Madisonville, KY, the daughter of John and Nell (Fox) Landers.

Glenda spent her working life in retail. For many years, she was the manager at the Fannie Mae Store in Effingham, and most recently retired as the manager at the Casey’s General Store in Effingham. Although her careers were in retail, Glenda’s real calling was in interior designing as anyone who knew her would agree.

Glenda is survived by her daughters, Jill (Logan) Miller of Homer, IL and Lea Ann Miller of Arnold, MO; grandchildren, Haley Miller, Riley Miller, Jacob Levitt, Lillian Gabel, and Keaton Gabel; brothers, Jay Doyle Landers of Marion, KY and William Douglas Landers of Belton, TX; and sisters, Wanda Faye Rickard of KY, and Delores June (John) Wood of Marion, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
