Billy Frank "Bill" Fear, 79, of Greenup, IL,  formerly of rural Trilla, Illinois, passed away at 5:25 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2016, in the Cumberland Rehab and Health Care Center of Greenup, Illinois.

As per Bill's wishes Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 9 at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. Monday until service time. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery, Neoga, Illinois.

Bill was born October 19, 1936 in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of Everett W. and Edith Helen (Dow) Fear. He was a retired Union Glazer and a member of the Glazer's Union # 27 of Chicago, IL, and was also a member of the former Neoga Masonic Lodge. Bill enjoyed visiting with his friends, neighbors and he was an avid Cumberland Pirate athletic fan who really enjoyed watching his boys wrestle.

Bill leaves one son, David Fear and wife Sue of Elm Creek, NE; two daughters, Debra Godden and husband Randy of rural Trilla, IL and Diane Larson  and husband Robert of Montgomery, IL; one sister, Kathryn Owens of Gaurier, MS; seven grandchildren, Christopher Stroup and wife Kim of St. Paul, NE, Tyler Godden of Neoga, IL, Stephanie Larkins and husband Mike of Woodridge, IL, Kristina Woolsey and husband Ben, Mary Larson, Ruth Larson all of Montgomery, IL and Laura Fear of Elm Creek, IL: three great grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Stroup of St. Paul, NE , and Robin Woolsey of Montgomery, IL.

Mr. Fear was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Roland "Gene" Fear and one sister, Barbara June Russell.
