John “Jack” Caldwell Robinson (82) of Farina

John “Jack” Caldwell Robinson, 82 of Farina, knocked on Heaven’s door and was greeted with open arms at 6:08 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012.
Jack was born to Glen Gaylord Robinson and Jennie Christine (Christianson) Robinson on January 31, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska.
He married Ann Elise Stilwell on April 22, 1949. They have four children.
Jack was a Jack-of-all-trades and a master in the baking industry. He worked for Dawn Foods until the onset of his illness at the age of 74 as a formulation specialist and salesperson. He was also a member of the Farina United Methodist Church.
Jack will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years; Ann, two sons; Rick (wife, Vickie) Robinson and Jerry Robinson, two daughters; Jacquie (husband, Ken) Helm and Jennie St. Lucas (special friend, Tim Robertson), 7 grandchildren, 9 ½ great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Farina United Methodist Church, Farina. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior. Memorials are requested to the Farina United Methodist Church, Fayette Co. Hospice, or Farina Ambulance Service. Pagel Funeral Home, St. Peter is handling arrangements.
