Luella K. Lilley (87) of Effingham

Luella K. Lilley, 87, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her home in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Luella was born January 17, 1925 in Shelby County, the daughter of Aloysius and Frances (Jurgens) Bueker. She married Melvin F. Lilly May 8, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham and the local Nine Patches Quilt Club. Luella first worked at Fedders Corporation and later worked in the bindery at World Color Press for over 20 years.

She is survived by sons, Garl (wife Mary Lou) Lilley, Gregory Lilley and Douglas Lilley, all of Effingham; daughters, Joyce Deters and Jane Lilley of  Effingham, Mary Ann Wines, Gail James and Betty Lilley of Watson and Patricia (husband Jerod) Miller of Effingham; sisters, Helen (husband Leonard) McKinney of Columbia City, Ind., Margaret (husband Paul) Willenborg of Neoga, Norma Otterson of Eau Claire, Wis., Clara (husband Curtis) Stewart of Helotes, Tex. and Joann Jamison of Teutopolis; brother, George "Jake" Bueker of Toledo; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister.
