Sarah "Sally" Bushue, 88, of Mason, passed away at 8:10 a. m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
 
Funeral Services will be held at Watson United Methodist church at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 with viewing one hour prior to service.  Paster Jim Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Leith Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2014 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, IL. from 4 to 8 p. m.  
 
Memorials may be made to Leith Cemetery, Watson United Methodist Church or donor's choice.
 
Sally was born on October 26, 1925 in Mason, IL., daughter of Gordon Leith and Susie (Chamberlain) Leith.  She married Virgil D. Bushue on January 10, 1946 at East Union Church in Mason, IL.  She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, the Watson United Methodist Church, the Land of Lincoln Credit Union and the Election Board in Union Township. She enjoyed doing yard work and gardening. She loved animals, and being with friends and family. She especially adored being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
She is survived by her son, Ray Bushue (wife Mary) of Mason, IL.; daughter, Sherry Goeckner (husband Bill) of Bishop Creek, IL.; sisters Marilyn McClure (husband Wayne) of Wichita, KS, Imogene Williams (husband LD) of Mason, IL.; sister-n-law, Gladys Bushue of Effingham, IL.; grandchildren, Mindie Bushue, Tyler Goeckner, and Trent Goeckner; great grandchildren, Gunner Huddleston, Brody Huddleston, Axel Bushue and Mattie James.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brothers, Wilbur Leith, John Leith , Myron Leith, and two brothers who passed in infancy, Monroe and Arkell Leith; sisters, Avanelle Azbelle , Ethelyn (Bushue) Wharton , and one grandson, Toby Bushue.
