University of Illinois Extension will be offering Superfoods to the Rescue on Thursday, February 11. This program will be held at 10:00-11:00AM, at 1209 Wenthe Drive, Effingham. All are welcome to attend this program.

You've probably heard of "superfoods" but what does that actually mean? Nutrition professionals describe the healthiest foods as ones which provide the best benefits and may reduce the risk of disease. Nutrient-dense foods, fiber, probiotics and functional foods will be explored and health benefits revealed. Join us to learn more about putting meals together that are both delicious and wholesome to build healthy bodies and sharp minds. University of Illinois Educators will present this program and share useful information on the topic.
