Southern Illinois' Homecoming Gospel Choir will be in concert at the Bethel Baptist Church near Vandalia Sunday, August 9 at 6 p.m. Featuring over 80 singers and musicians, Southern Illinois' Homecoming Gospel Choir, under the direction of John and Judy Roberts, presents an evening of southern gospel music like the Gaither Homecoming experience. Admission to the concert is free and a love offering will be received. Bethel Baptist Church is located seven miles northwest of Vandalia on Illinois Route 185.
