Community Calendar

The 43rd Annual Van Nationals spoonsored by Hard Core Vanners will be held Wednesday, July 8- Sunday, July 12. A five day camping event at the Effingham Co Fair Grounds is hosting 500+ vans and panel trucks, both custom and stock of all years from all over the US and Cancada. The event will feature live rock'n roll music every evening, food, drinks, vendors a custom/ stock van show. Gate Entry is $65 a van, (2 people per van), camping trailers $10, age 18 and up $20. Early camping is available July 5 for $20 a night. 

All proceeds benefit the local Altamont Meals on Wheels program which supplies daily hot meals to seniors and the disabled. Nonperishable donations will also be collected for the local food pantires as well as school supplies for the local school district.
