Effingham and Clay County Home and Community Education, HCE, is supporting "Women Walk the World 2015" by inviting all walkers to Charley Brown Park in Flora at the picnic pavilion at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7 to celebrate American Country Women of the World, ACWW's, Women of the World Day.

ACWW is active in more than 70 countries worldwide helping women and their families. HCE also will address the needs of a local service. Donations will be accepted with half of the funds collected going to "Pennies for Friendship" and the other half going to a local service. Men, women and children are all welcome to participate. The distance you walk will be at your discretion.

Effingham County women will meet at the Extension Building at 9:30 a.m. They will carpool to Flora and eat lunch there. Any questions, phone 217-868-9855.
