The Effingham Unit #40 Early Learning Center has scheduled an Open House-Kindergarten Preview Night for all children entering Kindergarten this fall for Monday, March 16 from 5:30 to 7:00pm. All children turning 5 years old by September 1, 2015 are eligible to attend. The Center is located at 3224 S. Banker Street. Preliminary registration will also be conducted for the 2015-2016 incoming kindergarteners, and information will be distributed to parents. There will be information booths including the Unit #40 Transportation Dept., the Effingham County Health Department, the Helen Matthes Library, and the Effingham Park District. A Scholastic book fair will also be available for parents to purchase materials to promote success in kindergarten.

All children and parents will receive prizes and a sneak peek into the “life of Kindergarten!"
