CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Effingham County is preparing for their next Volunteer Training Class. CASA will be holding an informational meeting for anyone interested in becoming a CASA Volunteer or anyone wishing to learn more about the organization. The meeting will consist of information about the roles and responsibilities of a CASA volunteer as well as the steps to becoming a CASA volunteer. There will be volunteer application packets available and the opportunity to ask questions you may have about CASA.

CASA of Effingham County is a not-for-profit organization that empowers everyday citizens as officers of the court. A CASA volunteer's primary responsibility is to advocate for an abused or neglected child to ensure that his/her needs are being met and to help the child obtain permanence.
