The public is invited to attend a Diabetes Support Group meeting at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital. This event will be held Monday, April 8 in the St. Francis Room. The welcome session begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the educational session. As a special program for this session, St.Anthony's is hosting, "Managing Diabetes: The Next Step with an A1C Champion." This presentation is by Jim Murphy, a person with diabetes who understands the challenges to controlling blood sugar and starting insulin. Come to this session and find out why you might want to talk to your doctor about whether insulin is right for you.
