The Lumberjack Giveback 5K walk and run is a timed race that will be held Saturday, November 5 at 8 a.m. Register by Sunday, October 16 online at runsignup.com to be guaranteed a long-sleeved T-shirt and the price of $35. Price will increase to $40 after October 16. Packet pickup and registration will be race day from 6:30-7:45 a.m. at the Altamont High School parking lot. Professional chip timing will be provided by Kinetic Timing. Awards will be given to the first, second and third place male and female finishers. Prizes will also be awarded for the best beard and best flannel outfit or lumberjack costume. The race will begin and end in the Altamont High School parking lot. The race route will follow the previous route for Run for Linzi. All proceeds will go to Firehouse MIssion.
