PAVE – Community Ice Cream Social

PAVE: Promoting a Vision for Effingham County

Since the completion of the MAPPING The Future of Your Community program, PAVE Action Teams have been working diligently on specific goals and are ready to share their progress.  They invite you to join them for an Ice Cream Social on Sunday, September 18 from 2:30p-5p.

This family-friendly will be at the Effingham Event Center.  Ice cream is being provided by Culver’s of Effingham

The action teams are focused on these goals:

1. Workforce & Education
2. Housing Development
3. Childcare
4. Entertainment/Festivals/Events
5. Parks & Recreation

PAVE CHILDCARE ACTION TEAM CONTEST

The Effingham County community is invited to come and see which Childcare Action Team member gets “pied” at the PAVE Ice Cream Social, this Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2:30 p.m. at the Effingham Event Center. 

Courtney Yockey, President & CEO of Effingham County Regional Growth Alliance, Meghan Rewers, Director of Crisis Nursery, Chad Markham, President & CEO of HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital and Peace Corps/AmeriCorps Fellow Brittany Vee Sunderman, PAVE Project Coordinator are all candidates.

The candidate with the most money donated will be “pied”.

Donations will be accepted during the Ice Cream Social.
