Hobnob Harvest Market – Wonderful Vintage, Handmade, & Boutique Shopping

The Hobnob Harvest Market – a pop-up vintage, handmade, & boutique shopping event – is heading back to the Effingham County Fairgrounds in Altamont, Illinois on September 2 & 3.  Hobnob owners Scott & Holly Snelling are thrilled to be back in Effingham County for the first time since Covid hit in 2019.  

Hobnob Market events are planned to fall just ahead of each new season so shoppers can refresh their homes & closets plus get set for upcoming holidays.  Vendors from all over the Midwest bring their best to make this market something special – you never know what you’ll find in each shop-like space.  Whether your style is farmhouse or boho, midcentury or industrial, you’re sure to find something you love.

In addition to vintage fall finds & cooler weather clothing styles, shoppers can select from a mouthwatering assortment of maker goods including jewelry, imaginative home décor, spa-style bath goodies, and fun children’s accessories.

Kids are welcome and children 12 & under are free.  The Effingham County Fairgrounds has a new children’s play area plus kids can enjoy balloon twist artist The Amazing Nick on both Friday evening & Saturday.

Earlybird Shopping - Friday, September 2 : 4-8 pm Central

First-dibs shopping! Friday has a date night/girl’s night atmosphere and is a chance to lay claim to amazing one-of-a-kind vintage & handmade pieces plus enjoy live music, delicious food truck treats, & the cash bar.  

Admission:

$10 per person

Buy in advance online for cashless entry (through Facebook or hobnobmarket.com) or at the gate on 9/2

Friday admission is good for free Saturday admission.

Market Day - Saturday, September 3 : 9 am - 4 pm Central
