St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital is partnering with St. Anthony High School's Student Council for a “Pink Out” game Friday, January 18 for the St. Anthony High School boys' basketball game against Stewardson-Strasburg.  Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the game to paint the gym pink for breast cancer awareness.

The theme of the night is “Playing Tonight for a Cure Tomorrow,” and everyone will be decked out in pink, with the basketball players wearing pink shoelaces and the coaches sporting pink shirts.  Pink hair extensions will be offered free to the first 100 girls at the game.  St. Anthony High School students have been selling pink t-shirts to students to wear the night of the game, sponsored by St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.  A limited supply of t-shirts will be available for purchase at the game, along with pink wrist bands.  Funds raised from the purchase of these items will benefit breast cancer awareness and education at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.

St. Anthony High School is once again honoring the fighters and survivors within their school family, with Tammy Keller celebrating one year as a survivor, Sandy Gillespie recognized as a nine-year survivor, and Brenda Milleville as an eight-year survivor.  A special recognition ceremony and check presentation to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital will be held between the Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball games that evening.
