Community Calendar

Team Luke 5K, One Mile and Kids Fun runs are scheduled Saturday, December 1. The Kids Fun Run will begin at 9 a.m. with the 5K and One Mile starting at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Grade School. Entry fees are $25 with shirt and $20 without shirt for 5K Run/Walk; $15 with shirt and $10 without shirt for One Mile Fun Run and no registration necessary for Kids Fun Runs.

Santa and Luke Johnson will arrive via Effingham County Fire Department truck. Santa will be available for photographs inside the gym at St. Anthony Grade School along with free face painting, balloon animals and a visit from the St. Louis  Cardinals' Fredbird. Johnson will receive a bone marrow transplant in December.
