Community Calendar

The Lake Land College Community Choir will present a Holiday Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 18 in the Lake Land College Theater. The choir will perform an arrangement of "How Can I Keep from Singing" to open the concert. Songs with a wintry theme will be followed by four numbers from the hit Broadway musical Guys and Dolls. The choir will ring in the holiday season with Christmas favorites and close with the Hallelujah Chorus. A reception will follow at Lake Pointe in the Luther Student Center.

Under the direction of Nancy Caldwell, members of the choir are from Effingham, Neoga, Windsor, Mattoon, Charleston, Casey, Arthur and Sullivan. Ann Roedl of Effingham accompanies the choir. The concert is free and open to the public.
