The GFWC Illinois, Effingham Women of Today is sponsoring a fundraiser at Culver’s, 1510 W. Fayette, Effingham, Thursday, November 1 from 5-8 p.m. The focus for this fundraiser is to raise scholarship money to be awarded to adults 25 years of age or older, who are planning to attend or re-enter a college or a university. A minimum of two scholarships will be awarded in the spring of 2013. Effingham Women of Today members will be bringing meals to the tables. A percentage of Culver’s sales that evening, plus any tips received by the group, will go toward the Effingham Women of Today’s scholarship fund.
