Free VITA (volunteer income tax assistance) at Effingham Catholic Charities starting January 30, with the last drop-off date of April 1. 

Bring Picture ID, and Social Security cards for everyone in your household...all necessary tax info (W-2s, 1098s, 1099s, info for other income, deductions and credit, ID# for child provider, voided check for direct deposit), fill out interview sheet, wait to be interviewed, and we will contact you by phone to review and sign tax return. 

Drop-off hours are Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. 

This is for those with a total family income of $60,000 or less per year.
