The Teutopolis Education Foundationi (TEF) is sponsoring an Electronics Drive in conjunction with Vintage Tech Recyclers Saturday, October 20 in the Teutopolis High School parking lot. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Accepted items are: CEDs and EEDs, monitors, laptops, servers, TVs, printers/FAX/scanners, DVDs/stereos/VCRs, video game consoles, peripherals-mice/keyboards, PDA/cell phones, all computer parts, MP3/IPods/etc., phones, UPS batteries, copiers, typewriters, cash registers, networking equipment, satellite dishes, cable boxes, DVD players, VCRs.

Household items accepted but not funded are vacuum cleaners (without bag), carpet sweepers (corded or rechargeable), blenders (without glass), mixers, coffee makers, bread makers, fryers, irons, food sealing equipment, electric knives, shaving equipemnt, hair cutters, hair dryers, toothbrushes, VHS tapes, holiday lights, massagers, radios, clocks, heaters, fans, cameras, phones, remotes, toaster ovens, microwaves, metal tools (drills, screwdrivers, small saws, sanders, etc.). Won't accept: curling irons, white goods such as refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, etc. and household batteries.

On the day of the drive those dropping off items will be met by TEF volunteers upon entering the parking lot. Help unloading wil be available. There is no charge to drop off items, but a free-will donation will gladly be accepted to enhance the ability of the TEF to fund much-needed programs throughout Unit #50 and Sigel St. Michael school. Remove batteries from items before drop off.
