Effingham County Home and Community Education Association invites the public to attend a program given by Father Dominic Garramone “Harvest Bread Making Lessons” Saturday, October 6 from 9-10:30 a.m at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 901 W. Jefferson Street, Effingham. There will be light refreshments and door prizes will be awarded. After the program, Fr. Domonic will be available to sign cookbooks and meet guests. His books and other abbey products also will be for sale. Tickets for the event are $10 in advance or $13 at the door.
