The VFW Auxiliary Post 1769 is having a meal to benefit Knotty Ladies Blanket Makers Friday, May 18 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the post on Veterans Drive in Effingham.
Menu: Oven fried Chicken, southern green beans, mashed potatoes/gravy, dessert, deviled eggs, pickled beets, coffee/tea/lemonade for $6.00.
