Joining the Generations Together Through Family Mealtimes

In celebration of Grandparents Day, AARP and your LifeSpan Center will be hosting an opportunity for grandparents and grandchildren to learn about the special relationship between generations through family mealtime.  The event will be Wednesday, September 27 from 4-5pm at your LifeSpan Center. Grandparents and their grandchildren are invited to listen to a brief presentation about the value of family mealtime and participate in tastings of sweet and savory dishes from family style recipes found in the soon to be released LifeSpan Cookbook: Recipes from the Heart. Children in attendance will have the opportunity to make and take their own pizzas too! To register for the event please call 639-5150 and reference the Celebrating Grandparents event. Both the grandparent and child(ren) must be registered.
