NAMI 3rd Annual Picnic and Support Group Meeting

NAMI of Effingham County, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will hold its monthly Support Group Meeting on September 13 th 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at one of the Shelters in Community Park in Effingham, our 3rd Annual Picnic. Please bring a covered dish to share, Fried Chicken will be provided.

Please Join us and meet other caregivers supporting someone with Mental Illness---husbands, wives, parents, loved ones, and siblings are welcome. The goal is learning and supporting each other. This is a chance

 to find out that you are not alone in your struggle and there is help available to be shared out there. Founded in 1979 NAMI is the largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI has over 1,100 affiliates in communities across the country who engaged in support, education, advocacy and research. We at NAMI Effingham County are always striving to provide and offer the latest NAMI support and education programs.

NAMI of Effingham County holds Support Group Meetings every second Wednesday of the month. For the picnic, we need an RSVP. Call 217- 690-6583 or e-mail namieffingham@gmail.com to let us know how many will be attending.
